For a game that’s all about heists and escaping from the cops, you can bet that having the fastest cars in your collection is a must for GTA 5. The thing is, there are lots of cars to choose from in the game already. It can be confusing or hard, rather, to find and get these cars for your collection.
To help you narrow down your search, we’re going to list down the top 10 fastest cars in GTA 5 history.
The Dark Souls 3 includes:
- Black Myth: Wukong Full Game
- Weapon: Bronzecloud Staff
- Equipment Folk Opera Mask, Folk Opera Almsgiving Armor, Folk Opera Leather Bracers
- Curio: Wind Chimes
- Selected Digital Soundtrack
Pegassi Torero XO
Number 10 out of the top 10 fastest vehicles that can be found in GTA 5 Online as of right now in 2024 will be the Pegassi Torero XO, which, of course, is based on the Lamborghini Countach in real life.
It's a, very nice-looking car. It only makes sense that a car based on a Lamborghini in real life would make this list. However, if you want to go ahead and buy the Pegassi Torero XO, it will set you back $2,890,000. It was originally released with the Criminal Enterprises DLC in 2022, so while it isn't a brand-new car, it isn't the oldest car in the game.
As for the top speed, the Pegassi Torero XO can hit a max speed of 131 mph when fully upgraded. In terms of style and performance, the Pegassi Torero takes the crown in many regards.
Bravado Banshee 900R
Now, for the ninth vehicle on the list, we have the Bravado Banshee 900R. If you’re an old-school GTA gamer, you’ll know this is the classic car from GTA 3 that everyone loved to steal, as it was by far the fastest car in that game.
The Bravado Banshee 900R is based on the Hennessey Viper Venom 1000 TT in real life. As you can see by the image with the orange paint job matching the rims, it's a very, very nice-looking car. The Banshee 900R also features a livery with two stripes down the middle, which is available in GTA 5 and is similar to the livery found on the car in GTA 3.
The Banshee 900R wasn’t added with any particular DLC but was instead part of the 1.32 January 2016 update. Rockstar Games really did things differently back then, as we could just receive a random car in a hotfix patch. As for the cost, you can buy it at Benny's Original Motor Works for $565,000. The Banshee 900R also has a top speed of 131 mph.
Overflod Entity MT
Coming in at number eight is the Overflod Entity MT, which has a top speed of 131.5 mph. This speed is based on normal cars, but it's worth mentioning that this car comes with HSW upgrades. If you add the HSW mods, the top speed jumps up to 150.5 mph, so it can really reach an insane speed with those improvements.
The Entity MT was added to the game with the Drug Wars update in 2022. If you haven't noticed, Rockstar Games really had a need for speed, adding a ton of fast vehicles with the 2022 update.
The Entity MT is based on the 2021 Koenigsegg Jesko, which, as you can see from the real-life images, looks almost identical to the Entity MT in the game. This is also an extremely fast car in real life. If you want to buy this car in GTA 5 Online, it will set you back $2,355,000.
Lampadati Corsita
Now, for the seventh fastest car in GTA 5 Online, we have the Lampadati Corsita, with a top speed of 131.3 mph. This car was also added to the game in 2022 as part of the Criminal Enterprises DLC and is based on the Maserati MC20 in real life. It has a very nice look, comes with suicide doors, and is extremely fast in real life. If you want to purchase this car in GTA 5 Online, it will cost you $1,795,000.
Principe Deveste Eight
Moving on to the sixth fastest car, we have the Principe Deveste Eight, which has a top speed of 131.75 mph. The Deveste Eight also comes with HSW mods, which, if applied, will increase the max speed to 151.75 mph—some really insane speed.
This car has been in the game for some years now, as it was originally added with the Arena War update back in 2019. The Deveste Eight is based on the Devel Sixteen, which has an extremely unique body shape.
The car has a real Batman feel to it. If you want to buy the Deveste Eight in-game, it will set you back $1,795,000—not too expensive for a car that looks unique and is also extremely fast.
GTO Stinger TT
Next up, at number five, we have the Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT, with a top speed of 132 mph. If you apply the HSW mods to this car, the speed increases to 168.5 mph, which is just insane. This car was added to the game with the Mercenaries update in June 2023. The Itali GTO Stinger TT is based on the Ferrari Roma in real life.
It's not the most spectacular or crazy-looking car, but being based on a Ferrari, it's extremely fast. While the Ferrari Roma might cost around $200,000 in real life, if you want to purchase it in GTA 5 Online, it will set you back a whopping $2,380,000—definitely not the cheapest car on this list.
Pfister 811
Coming in at number four is the Pfister 811, with a top speed of 132.5 mph. This car is somewhat of an OG, as it was originally added with the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update back in 2016.
The Pfister 811 is based on the Porsche 918 Spyder, a limited production model, so not many people can get this car, even if they have the money. If you want to buy the Pfister 811 in GTA 5 Online, it will cost you $1,135,000, reflecting the time when one of the fastest cars in the game only cost just over a million.
Grotti Itali RSX
Moving into the top three fastest cars in GTA 5 Online, at number three, we have the Grotti Itali RSX, with a top speed of 135.4 mph. Unlike the Pfister 811, this car was released more recently and is priced accordingly. It was added with the Cayo Perico Heist in 2020 and is based on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale.
It's a very nice-looking car that could set you back about half a million dollars in real life. However, if you want to purchase it in GTA 5 Online, it will cost you $3,465,000.
Ocelot Pariah
At number two, we have the Ocelot Pariah, with a top speed of 136 mph. This car was originally added to the game with the Doomsday Heist update back in 2017. The Pariah is based on the Aston Martin V12 Zagato in real life, another extremely rare car that you don't see many people driving.
If you want to buy the Ocelot Pariah in GTA 5 Online, it will only cost you $1,420,000. So, the prices really don’t reflect how fast a car is going to be, and this is even more evident with the fastest car in GTA 5 Online.
BF Weevil Custom
Coming in at number one as the fastest car in GTA 5 Online is the BF Weevil Custom. Yes, you heard that right—this car, which doesn’t look like your typical super expensive supercar, is indeed the fastest car in GTA Online.
The BF Weevil Custom has a top speed of 137.5 mph and was added to the game two years ago in October 2022 as part of the Criminal Enterprises update. It was actually drip-fed into the game around Halloween. This isn’t a sport or supercar but a muscle car based on the VW Beetle Rat Rod in real life.
The car is clearly modeled after this real-life vehicle, with many of the customizations being similar to what people have done to their real-life Rat Rods. This is likely Rockstar Games paying homage to them.

Unique Title
1. Know the Car Types
Whether you have a need for speed or aesthetics, there’s a car for you. Before you hop into the game and start scavenging for cars, here are a few popular types you need to know about.
Sports Cars: In GTA 5, sports cars are renowned for their quickness and potency so they’re popular for speedsters. They are perfect for racing and short getaways since they combine style, handling, and speed. Muscle Cars: Muscle vehicles like the Dominator and Banshee provide an exciting driving experience if you want raw power and retro vibe. These cars are perfect for both aggressive driving and cruising because of their strong engines and vintage styling. The good thing about them is that they aren’t that rare.
They are frequently located in retro-themed regions or close to spots frequented by characters who have an affinity for vintage American automobiles. Look for them in places like the deserted drive-in or the vicinity of Sandy Shores and car dealerships.
Off-Road Vehicles: Off-road cars are designed to go over difficult and uneven terrain. They don’t offer much in terms of speed and looks but they’re your best choice at hard terrain.
Brawler and Rebel are two examples of vehicles built for off-road races on tough terrain. They frequently appear in the more untamed or rural areas of the map. Your chances of finding these rugged, trail-ready rides will rise if you explore the county's rugged terrain or the surrounding deserts and car dealerships.
Classic Cars: GTA 5's classic automobiles draws nostalgia with their retro looks and significance in history. In addition to being rare, automobiles like the Benefactor Glendale and Albany Roosevelt provide a distinct driving experience because of how they feel and handle. Some of these cars are good in terms of speed but other than that, they’re pretty much average. They’re pretty expensive as well.
These vehicles can frequently be acquired via specialist in-game websites or located in particular tasks. Look for these classics during special events or buy them from in-game websites that feature antique cars and car businesses to add them to your collection.
2. Exploring the City
What most don’t know is that the cars you find on the road will vary depending on where you’re looking.
A closer look at some of the areas you can visit to find some of the best vehicles in the game is shown below:
Vinewood Hills: Luxury and exclusivity are often associated with Vinewood Hills. Because of the wealthy locals' lavish lifestyles, expensive sports and supercars are usually parked nearby.
A quick drive through the neighborhood will help you find cars similar to the Adder or the Infernus, paying particular attention to the enormous houses and luxury boutiques. If you want an extra tip, you may see these cars parked outside upscale establishments or near the Vinewood sign.
Rockford Hills: This is another wealthy neighborhood well-known for its high-end cars. You’ll often find supercars with exceptional performance, including the Zentorno and T20 here.
If you want to increase your chances of locating these vehicles, drive about the city, especially in the areas surrounding upscale apartments and major roads. Because of its closeness to the city center, this region is also known for its luxury automobile presence.
Downtown Los Santos: There is a variety of car types available in the busy center of Los Santos, ranging from speedy rides to vintage vehicles.
There is a lot going on in downtown, so you're likely to see a variety of cars there. A quick walk through the neighborhoods surrounding the Los Santos Tower and the main thoroughfares in the city center is a good way to find cars, as well as hanging around in well-known establishments.
3. Specific Car Locations
Certain cars in GTA 5 are known to spawn in certain spots. While not guaranteed, you have better chances of finding these cars there, over anywhere else.
You can cut down on search time and effort by being aware of these locations:
The Pegassi Zentorno: This luxurious supercar is renowned for both its unique style and ferocious performance. You can typically find it in Vinewood Hills and Rockford Hills. You can drive around these districts in order to improve your chances of seeing a Zentorno, particularly in the areas surrounding the more fancy homes and upscale businesses. It may take some time to find the car because of its unusual appearance.
The Grotti Turismo R: Because of its speed and sleek styling, the Turismo R is a favorite among GTA 5 players that love to show off. This supercar is often seen near the Los Santos Golf Club. Look for this fast car in the parking lots and on the nearby streets. In the daytime, the area around the golf course is one of the best places to see the Turismo R.
The Benefactor Schafter V12: The Schafter V12, which is well-known for its luxury and strong engine is usually found in Vinewood Boulevard. As you pass through, pay particular attention to the streets that encircle Vinewood Boulevard and the adjacent business districts and you might find one to steal if you’re lucky enough.
4. Easy Tips
In GTA 5, locating rare automobiles calls for some perseverance and a calculated approach. Here are some more pointers to aid you in your quest:
Check Vehicle Spawn Timings: In GTA 5, the in-game clock and the time of day have an impact on vehicle spawning. Certain cars spawn more frequently in certain time frames, such as late at night or during the day. Keep an eye on the clock and consider searching searching at various times of day to improve your chances of coming across unique cars.
Use the In-Game Map: Finding upscale neighborhoods and well-known spawn locations can be facilitated by using the in-game map. Use the map to narrow down your search to areas that are more likely to contain rare cars. Once you've located a desirable one, mark the spot and return there on occasion.
Avoid Over-Searching: Even if it’s crucial to keep going, try not to lose hope if you don’t immediately discover a car. Sometimes better outcomes come from taking a pause and returning later. You can also improve your chances of finding rare cars by expanding your search radius and trying different places.
5. Stealing Cars vs. Buying Them
There are advantages to both car ownership and car theft. Here's a closer look at each method's benefits and things to keep in mind:
Stealing: One of the most thrilling aspects of GTA 5 might be the pleasure of tracking down and stealing rare cars. You can use it to expand your collection of rare automobiles without having to pay in-game money.
But, stolen vehicles might not always be in excellent shape and might draw unwelcome attention from the police. Once you take a car, make sure to bring it to the auto-shop immediately and have it customize so that it can’t get tracked.
Buying: Buying a car is a simple and dependable approach to get the precise car you desire. A variety of cars are available for purchase on websites such as Legendary Motorsport and Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
Purchasing an automobile guarantees that it will arrive in perfect shape, and it can be a more practical choice than stumbling across and stealing a car. Of course, many of the cars in these platforms are expensive so prepare to save up a ton of money first.
6. Joining Car Clubs and Events
If you love cars, attending events and joining in-game auto clubs can offer chances to meet new people and learn about new cars. Car clubs frequently arrange meets where you can display your collection and offer advice on where to obtain particular cars. These occasions may also feature races and contests, providing an opportunity to put your cars through tests in various conditions.
7. Staying Up-to-Date
Events and vehicles are among the new features that are often added to GTA 5. Keep an eye on forum posts, social media accounts, and game updates to learn about the most recent features and modifications. Rockstar Games releases new vehicles and features on a regular basis, so keeping up with them will guarantee you don’t pass up any thrilling chances.
Get Your Speed On
There are lots of amazing cars in GTA 5 but it doesn’t take a veteran to know that there are some cars that are more special than others. Hopefully, you can steal one of the cars above for your own collection soon.
