GTA$ earned through gameplay is identical to GTA$ from a Shark Card once it is in your wallet. The difference is time. Earning cash in-game takes missions, heists, and hours of play. A Shark Card puts the funds there immediately, letting you spend on whatever you want without waiting. Both types of GTA$ are spent the same way in GTA Online.
